Office Error 1935

I'm trying to install Office Home and Student 2007 on a new dell computer and I keep receiving the error message:
error 1935 during installation of assembly component...

I've tried the suggestions offered on this site and its still a no go. I really don't feel like paying the $50 bucks to get any help because I can't get a product key yet.

Any help out there?

This issue may occur when the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.

Repair the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 installation
To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
2. In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, and then click Change/Remove.
3. Click Repair, and then click Next.

Reinstall the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1

If the .NET Framework version 1.1 is installed, remove it, and then reinstall it.

To remove the .NET Framework version 1.1, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
2. In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and then click Change/Remove.
3. Click Yes to uninstall the .NET Framework version 1.1.

I've done these things already though, a couple of times now, and I keep getting the same error message. Any other suggestions?

Do you have any security software installed (Bitdefender, NOD32, etc)? Also, did you follow the instructions from Microsoft article 926804?

I just disabled my security and received the same message. And yep, I've followed the article. Nada
