Shortcut for Today's date in Excel 2007

Hi i am using Ms office 2007 since couple of weeks. I like to work with keyboard rather than using mouse to be fast and save the time. Today i need a shortcut key to enter current date in Excel 2007. Is there any shortcut ? Please let me know.

Its definitely very useful to work with shortcuts on computer. To enter to days date in Excel 2007 you need to the box or the cell where you it to be. Keep pressed the Ctrl key and press ; semi colon key. Thats it.. You will see today's date there. Remember to hold the Ctrl key while pressing semi colon key.

In same way to enter time , this is the shortcut CTRL+ SHIFT+ : (colon).

To apply the Date format with the day, month, and year, press CTRL+SHIFT+#
