remove carriage returns

I am working in an office where we have to work on many data. I am given a data where there are lot of carriage returns. My boss asked me to remove carriage returns from it, But i don't know how is it possible does anyone know how is it possible ????? Can anyone solve this problem....???

To Remove Carraige Return

1. Highlight a carriage return starting from end of one line to the beginning of the next line.
   
   
2. Control+C to copy
   
   
3. Control+H to open the Replace dialog box
   
   
4. Click in the Find What box
   
   
5. Control+V to paste the carriage return
   
   
6. Put anything in the Replace With text box whatever you want to replace it with
   
   
7. Then click on the Replace All button.

If Copy the whole file into the Word Document in which paragraph ends with two or more paragraph marks :

1. Then go to Edit Menu, choose Replace.
   
   
2. In the Find What box, enter:
   
   

   ([!^13])(^13)([!^13])
   
   In the Replace With box, enter:
   
   \1 \3
   
   Click the More.. button, and check “Use Wildcards”.
   
   Click Replace All and click OK when Word tells you it has done the replacement.
   
   This will remove any paragraph marks that are at the end of a line but within a paragraph.
