    Delete "My Music" folder

As everyone knows that Windows includes a folder named "My Music" in user's "My Document" folder to store the music files especially for Windows Media Player. But since I use VLC media player and stores my music collection in drivers other than "C", I don't want this folder on my computer. My problem is that whenever I delete the folder, the folder reappears on my computer with my next login. How can I delete the "My Music" folder from my Windows XP computer?

Yes you can stop the recreation of the "My Music" folder and this involves a small simple tweak as follows:

    1. Go to Start
    2. Select Run (or you can also directly call this by using [Windows] + R shortcut)
    3. Type in the text box: "regsvr32 /u mydocs.dll"
    4. Click OK

This is quiet normal because that's what Microsoft has designed for Windows. So the only trick that come to my mind is manual deleting. If you want then you can create a batch file by opening a new notepad file and typing in it "del file_path/My Music" and save it as a batch (.bat) file on your desktop. But the only problem is that you need to run this bat file as soon as you login.

You can also use "rmdir" command to delete the My Music folder. To delete My Music folder using "rmdir" command, just follow this step:

    1. Go to the folder that contains that folder.
    2. Open command prompt and type: "rmdir folder_name" and then hit Enter.
