Well i have not seen such case before. But there are lot of software which help in recovering lost and deleted files. I would suggest you try those softwares out. First rename the current file to something else, or the current data will be lost. Once done, then try to scan for deleted and lost files, might help!

Well miss Sam, i already tries the Data recovery software for NTFS file system, but tha did not help me... Also i tried to see it in the recycler folder if i was lucky, but that didn't help too... Any other suggestions? That was the most important file and i mis-edited it... aww... grrr.. Help! |

Hey, there is one way you can get your previous file back, just copy the current file in a flash drive or other location [not on your hard disk drive]. The run system restore, and restore your system to yesterday's date. This will get your file back. I hope you have not turned of system restore... |
