Quicktime doesn't play flv files

Hello,
I would download you tube flv files in quick time but unable to open these video files ... is this problem with the player or what? I didn't do anything strangely to happen like this.i have done what ever i know to solve the issue
sucks to core...
any help would be appreciated............

hello do you have other HD on your computer?
Is Flash Player installed on your other HD? In case there is an OS on other HD Uninstalling a program present in both HD's can defect real player on the other HD.
get the updated versions of real player and flash player

..can you re install the application and try again...
may be because of some error while installing another media programs will disturb the settings along with the codes for playing the flv files,better do a fresh install..i guess it will certainly work for you

some guys told me that It's because the new version Flash Player doesn't support FLV file playing in Real Player,Download the older version of flash even am not quite sure about this...
