divxcodecpack.com having malware ?

I downloaded a codec pack from “divxcodecpack.com” and from same day my computer is very slow.
CPU usages always shows high in task manger with “CMD” process.
Is scanned my computer but it did not find a virus.
One of my friend told me that I should never download such “divxcodecpack.com” software, it contents viruses and malware.
How to check that this having viruses.

I will recommend to firstly remove the codec pack & then remove all the malware from your computer by using Malwarebytes as for me it is the strongest one to remove all the malware. And also i will recommend to use the license version antivirus for your computer as it helps to protect your computer in much better way. I also recommend you to use Quich Heal Antivirus. And always download any software from a site where they give a trusted trademark.

What program you used for scanning your pc ? Is it a license version ? Try download the codec pack in other pc and see if the other pc get slow .
