acrotray.exe is a process related to Adobe Acrobat Tray bar Assistant which create a method to additional configuration options for Adobe products. but this application is not vital,Yes, it is not a critical component and can be disabled
The acrotray.exe file should be located in the program directory..you are free to remove this application

oh you just mentioned it is comes with your start up
so it is trying to run during the start up
better avoid this application not to load during the wake up...
launch the Msconfig from run and un mark from the start up tab
    restart the computer........

can you try a application which can help you in finding and managing Start up Programs then download Control Panel.will support you to manage all your start-up programs.

got a "run once" feature. It adds an automatic start-up program, run in the next boot, which also offers you to isolate start-up programs to your Windows profile.so install and try...
