hello every one

I have a nice collections of movies which i adore mostly,but the thing is that all of them are .avi file format with 3 or 4 files for a single movie,but i need them in a single so one of my pal advised me install a VirtualDub however there appeared a message as follows : Some warnings were issued during the previous operation; AVI: Truncated or invalid compressed audio format detected
but the software utterly failed to fix the problem, but i also try with my second file(thinking) if it is something with my first file but still the same

so guys what you think?? can some tell me a better solution

it sounds me like problem with your avi files

did you try any other movies as mentioned you have good collection
give up the movie file that you are currently working with see if it's the problem
with the file

if you pretty sure that it's with the software
then do change the application and see any thing happens

follow this to join the files using VirtualDub
first you need to open the first file for joining If it's unable to locate a de compressor, then you need the appropriate codec at AfterDawn.get a FFDShow for this concern.Drag the curser at the very end of the video stream.it should be on the last frame.and append the second file using the option Append AVI Segment
if you informed that two AVI segments do not share a common sampling rate? then join Join AVI files with VBR MP3 audio using VirtualDUBMOD

now open the second file and select Direct Stream Copy for both video an audio and save the file..
i think this will help you two join the files
