How to merge mpg files

I have two mpg files with me, one is an original song of a movie and the second is my add-ons to that song. So I want to concatenate two MPG file such a way that the two mpg files are of same media type (i.e. mpg). My theory part is good but I don't know how to do that. Do I need to a software to merge two mpg files? Can you help me to get it done?

Yes you can do that using TMPGEnc software. Open TMPGEnc, select File, then click on "MPEG Tools" and select "Merge & Cut". Now choose all the files that you want to merge and start the process of merging by clicking on "Run".
