Entourage error 3253

Hi all,
I am getting the following error using entourage: "Connection to the server failed or was dropped. Mail could not be received at this time. Error: -3253". Other mail services are running fine. Anyone have solution for this?

It may be issue from your mail providers side. Trouble the network with tcpflow. tcpflow is a program that captures and stores or displays data transmitted on a TCP/IP network.

Open entourage and delete the IMAP account that you cannot send from and quit from your account. Then follow these steps:
Open Entourage

• Go to File ->Import
• Select 'Import information from a program'
• Select 'Apple Mail'
• Select 'Accounts'
• Click Finish

If you get this message sending mails, then make sure that the attachments are not exceeding the limit of email provider. Also try to use different SMTP settings. If your firewall is enabled, you may get this error. Temporarily try disabling it.

Have you tried to reinstall it ?
