How to take Backup of windows photo gallery database

I am using windows photo gallery to store photos either i have taken with my digital camera or forwarded by friends there is a sizable amount of photo available in the photo gallery and i wanted to take a backup of all those photos, is it possible to take back up of all my photos stored in windows photo gallery..

The tags are part of the Photo which can only be seen and used with Windows Vista. If you backup your pictures and put them on a machine with Windows XP you will not see your tags. But if you put them back on a Vista machine you will.

Just backup your pictures. You will be safe.

Hi, i have also tried taking the backup of windows photo gallery but i could not able to get it, I have tried repairing windows with my Vista CD but it makes no difference.A new desktop Slide Show Screen Saver feature helps you to choose photos, videos, and even themes to be displayed in Screen Saver. I also discovered that the restore facility on Vista can easily be switched off by mistake. I have tried at point but i could not make to make the restoration point.This happened to me and I don't have any restore points to help me fix the problem with Windows Photo Gallery.
