    excel blue line of a column

    My senior received a file from a client of our company & the file was in an excel format. In that file one column has a blue line on both the side. It doesn't seems like border. I want get rid of it can anyone help...???

    It sounds like someone has a list of columns on the data of your table. They can do these, by them Data > List > Convert ton rank however note you that perhaps have this unexpected effects on such things such as formulas, if they ask use of the list.

    looks like the file is kept in the preview mode. Go to toolbar & view the it in the normal way. This may solve your problem.

    OR

    As Said above It might be a List, where you can find more information on the list and to get rid of it you can ghange or remove it directly from the command on the Data List > Menu.

    It is the list of something which your client want to ask about or has the difficulty about. the best way to know about is to ask to the client what that column is about.
