After Closing outlook is Still Running

Hello, I Have Outlook 2007 Installed in my Computer then Problem is that Outlook keeps running as a process Outlook.exe in the Task Manager Even when i Closes , I dont believe How Can Outlook.exe still running on exit , I wish to close Outlook completely, including removal from notification area.
When I close the program, it still remains 'live' in the notification area. Is there an option to prevent Outlook from running after close? I tried a clean install, but the bug followed.

Did you install any gadgets that integrate with Outlook? On a Windows Vista-based computer, remove any gadgets that you downloaded to show your Outlook data. For example, this data may include the Outlook calendar, Outlook tasks, Outlook mail, and Outlook contacts. To remove gadgets on a Windows Vista-based computer, follow these steps:
    • Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    • Click Control Panel Home.
    • Click Programs.
    • Click Windows Sidebar Properties.
    • In the Maintenance section, click View list of running gadgets.
    • Click any gadget that you want to disable, and then click Remove.

This issue occurs when a program that is running as an add-in inside Outlook cannot close. Outlook waits for this program to close before Outlook can close.

To determine which add-in is preventing Outlook from closing, follow these steps:

    1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
    2. Click Advanced Options, and then click COM Add-ins.
    3. If COM add-ins are listed, note them, and then click to clear the check box that is next to one add-in. Click OK.

If no COM add-ins are listed, go to step 6.
    4. Exit Outlook, restart it, and then exit it again. Then verify whether the application closes correctly. To do this, examine the notification area to see whether the Outlook icon stays there for a long time. Alternatively, look in Task Manager for instances of Outlook.exe after the Outlook window closes.

Note In Task Manager, Outlook.exe is found in the list on the Processes tab.
    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to continue disabling COM add-ins until Outlook closes correctly.
    6. If no COM add-ins are listed, click Cancel to close the COM Add-ins window.
    7. Click Add-in Manager on the Advanced Options window.
    8. Verify that only the default add-ins that are listed in the More Information section are in the list. If non-default add-ins are present, note them, and then click to clear the check box next to each non-default add-in. This action disables the add-in.

Note If there are several non-default add-ins in Add-in Manager, disable them all at the same time.

    10. After all add-ins have been disabled, and after Outlook is restarted and closes correctly, enable each non-default add-in one at a time. To do this, exit Outlook, restart Outlook, enable an add-in, and then exit Outlook again.

This procedure may help identify which add-in is not working correctly with Outlook. After you identify the add-in, contact the add-in's manufacturer. A fix for the problem may already be available. Alternatively, the manufacturer may be able to build a fix.

You Can Use KnockOut as it is a free Microsoft Outlook companion product that allows you to easily monitor the state of Outlook on your computer. From a notification area icon, KnockOut can show you if Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word are running on your computer (even if no windows are showing on your taskbar). If one of these applications is in a hung state, you can terminate them right from the KnockOut menu. This will help clear up rare mystery situations, in which you think Outlook is not running because you see no windows on your taskbar, but when you launch Outlook again nothing happens because it is actually running in the background.

KnockOut also can help you control the Outlook notification area icons, allowing you to remove them from your taskbar. KnockOut can pop up optional balloons (Windows 2000 or later required) which can also be configured to show you what version of Outlook you are running on your computer.

In addition, KnockOut lets you create Outlook items (mail messages, appointments, contacts, tasks, etc.) from anywhere you are in Windows, whether Outlook is running or not. Simply click the KnockOut icon in the taskbar, select the type of item you would like to create, and it comes up immediately. The KnockOut menu is customizable, so that you can easily get to your favorite items as quickly as possible.

Microsoft Outlook power users and developers can't afford to be without Knockout.
