    If you are looking for an application geared toward managing extensive music collections or an alternative to iTunes that is light on system resources and includes far more options or easy to use and with a comprehensive feature set, than her it is. It is know as MusicBee. It manage your music as a library, as playlists or as folders on the file-system. Organize, browse and find music on your computer, on portable devices and on the web. Small or large collections are handled with ease.

    Once installed to your system, you are prompted to have MusicBee scan folders for music and import tracks from iTunes or Windows Media Library.The interface is nicely laid out and very intuitive by default. You can also customize the layout of the UI including a few different skins.With MusicBee you can also manage and download Podcast subscriptions and listen to your favorite radio stations, including Shoutcast, Jamendo and Last.fm stations.

    MusicBee makes it easy to organize, find and play music files on your computer, on portable devices and on the web.you can have music files organised and renamed into folders and files on your computer based on tag values such as artist, album, name, track number, etc. that you specify. You can have MusicBee do this automatically for all files in your library or you can choose the files or folders yourself.

    This application has the ability to automatically download tag and metadata from the web, or you can customize it manually for lesser known artists.It also includes a web browser for checking out different music blogs, and you can Scrobble tunes to your Last.FM profile.Play MP3, FLAC, Vorbis, WMA and other formats and optionally have those tracks scrobbled to Last.fm.

    I am using this application and found it much interesting and handy useful for the music addicts because of its nice features.With this i can securely rip tracks from my CD collection as individual files or as a single album file with an embedded coversheet. It automatically look up missing Album Art, Lyrics and tag other meta data from the web, with the ability to have tracks identified by analyzing their digital sound signature.

    This is the second release canidate of MusicBee 1.0 which includes many features to make managing and playing music a great experience.Whats new in this:-
    • iPhone/ iTouch support
    • Artwork-only layout (just shows album covers and the name of album)
    • Multiple Column sorting (using the Ctrl-mouse click action)
    • Track Information tab in the now playing list, which can be configured for the tags it displays
    • Optional floating lyrics window
    • Mini-player has Show/Hide Now Playing List button
    • Undo/ Redo function for the now playing list
    • Various GUI fixes
    • Various performance improvements
