How to turn off safe mode in Outlook Express

Sometime when I launch outlook express it prompts to start in safe mode and goes off. But after restarting the system it works back again properly. It has happen multiple time. I want to ask weather it is possible to turn of the safe mode feature in outlook express. And also what is reason behind it. Why my outlook express goes automatically in safe mode.

The main reason behind it add-on and plug-ins. I think you had installed any extra add on tool or a plug in. This add on programs if does not work properly the outlook express runs in safe mode to run the minimal functions. You will need to remove those add in and plugs in and then it will not go in safe mode. You can stop them by configuring outlook express or by manually removing them from add/remove program in control panel.

I will recommend you to uninstall your outlook express and reinstall it back again. But before that back up your emails. First open my computer. Go to tools menu and folder option. Select view > under view show hidden files and folders. Now navigate to below path C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Backup the whole files and when you re-install your outlook then paste the same files in same directory.

When Outlook runs in safe mode it stop many application which can be the cause for the problem. Like it sets off toolbar customizations. The preview pane is off. By renaming some files can make your tool work. Go to the below listed files and rename them to any name. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\. In the outlook folder rename Outcmd.dat, views.dat and Frmcache.dat files and restart your system. Then go to Tools menu and select trust center. In the window select add-in tab. Now select manage list and then click on com add in and select go. Again restart your whole system and check weather if still problem persist or not.
