Sound ceased after Installing Webcam

hii every body my lappie Hp Pavilion DV6815NR with Vista Home Premium now encountering a problem following an installation of webcam. I installed a Logitech webcam and now I'm striving to get any sound from laptop.

I"m pretty sure that audio on the webcam is working.whats wrong ?? my lappie?? or the cam?? Can anyone suggest what i got to do to resolve???

Hi,
always check the sound settings
after you install a web cam with or without build-in
microphone..try to revert to the old settings

well i have got 2 options for you

* completely uninstall the webcam software from note book
reinstall the application

still encountering the problem update the audio driver

you need to confirm the Vista audio properties settings are correct
make sure the mic for your headset is set as default
