To install Photoshop CS3 on Vista correctly

I have Windows Vista operating system. When I try to install Adobe Photoshop CS3 on my Vista, the installation starts and just after a second the installation window closes itself and disappears. Can anybody suggest me how can I install the photoshop cs3 on my Vista correctly ?

Any ideas, suggestions.......please help

In Windows Vista,

• Go to Start
• In the search box, type 'cmd'
• When it appears, right-click on it and choose 'Run as administrator' and type the following string -
  regsvr32 JScript.DLL

I was also facing the similar installation issues while installing photoshop on my vista machine. Well, the error 2739 exists and there's a very easy workaround.
All you have to do is to run cmd.exe with Administrator privilege
Start -> type "cmd", then right-click on the cmd.exe and select "Run as Administrator, then click Continue on the elevation consent dialog.
This opens a command prompt in system directory. In my case, C:\Windows\System32

Type the following in the command prompt - regsvr32 jscript.dll or regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Press Enter.....that's it !!!!

Yeah, the setup seems to "hang" for a while, just run it as admin and wait for atleast 5 - 10 mins. I have installed photoshop cs3 on 2 machines both having vista installed in it and it did install successfully. Just took a bit more time than normal .......
