I am looking for a free application or a free program that will allow me to rip a DVD in my Windows Vista operating system. Can few of you please suggest me a reliable freeware for ripping a DVD in my Vista.....
any ideas or suggestions.....kindly help

If you want to rip DVD's to divx, i would recomend you get fairUse Wizard, the new version is out, so the older version has changed to freeware.

It supports direct rips from .iso and you can batch them too.

Very good quality rips, its just a bit time consuming.
