PromptPal is a replacement GUI (graphical user interface) for the command prompt console, previously known as the DOS prompt. It turns the antiquated console into a friendly and helpful Windows program, whilst still routing all your instructions through Microsoft's dependable command processor.

You can download the PromptPal 1.5.8.0 from here

The Shift-Right Click menu option of "Copy as Path" goes some way to solving the problem.Copy (Ctrl + C) then paste by using the mouse right-click > Paste. You could manually navigate the Command Prompt path to the required folder, you could simply drag and drop the necessary file to the Run option or to the Command Prompt and press Enter to run it.

Windows 2000/XP/2003 Command Prompt (CMD) window was the ability to drag and drop files from it. It turns the antiquated console into a friendly and helpful Windows program, the instructions would there be executed through Microsoft's dependable command processor. You could drag a file from your desktop or from within any folder in Windows Explorer, and drop it to an open Command Prompt window. This feature would turn out to be the best feature especially when running executable files nested deep within a folder hierarchy.
