Problem with windows media sharing being disabled

Hi,

I know it will sound weird but its happening with me.
Whenever I click on the mediaplayer shared device I get windows media player but it says that media sharing is disabled but I know that ts not disable.
I have checked all option on but don't understand why I get this error?

Try this:
1. Open a command prompt.(admin)
2. Type net stop winmgmt. Type Y to stop other services & continue
3. Delete the folder (choose the option that fits your Operating System)
- Vista 32Bit: %SystemRoot%\System32\WBEM\Repository and all its contents
- Vista 64Bit: %SystemRoot%\sysWOW64\WBEM\Repository and all its contents
4. Reboot & Open a command prompt and type net localgroup administrators NetworkService /ADD

Hey I have triedto enable the sharing but I received same error saying "Media sharing is currently disabled, either because the sharing service is no longer running or your firewall settings have changed." I think restarting it will solve the problem but i dont know how to do this to confirm the sharing settings?
