| Re: importing incredimail into outlook Try this method to import your IncrediMail Contacts into the Outlook Express Address Book Save your IncrediMail address book to a .csv file. It's usually best to save the "IncrediMail Exported Contacts (csv format).csv" file to your Desktop. Open Outlook Express. Select Tools | Address Book... from the menu. Now choose File | Import | Other Address Book... from the address book's menu. Highlight Text File (Comma Separated Values). Click Import. Now click Browse .... Highlight the "IncrediMail Exported Contacts (csv format).csv" file on your Desktop. Click Open. Now click Next >. Double-click the E-mail text field. Choose E-mail Address from the Select an address book field for the text field: E-Mail drop-down menu. Make sure Import this field is checked. Click OK. You can change other mappings from address book fields in IncrediMail to corresponding fields in Outlook Express as well. Click Finish. Now click OK and Close. Source: email.about.com |

If you can save them as a file, certainly. txt and csv are two that will work well with Outlook. I prefer csv. If you are trying to import the contact export the incredimail file as a csv file, save it, and import it to outlook. |

| Re: importing incredimail into outlook
Did you try the importing the mails from the outlook window? There are programs you can buy that will export Incredimail messages as EML files, which you can then load into Outlook Express and from there export to Outlook (like Incredimail Backup Pro from http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html). There is also a freeware IncrediConvert available at http://rauno.com/ic.zip which is supposed to convert from Incredimail to CSV as well. It works only on Windows 2000/XP, however. Incredimail contacts are easier because it will export then in CSV format, which Outlook can import.
