how do you get the degrees symbol in Powerpoint, Notepad on a computer

i want to know is it possible to create the degree symbol in notepad and Powerpoint on my computer. It is not good to write 110 degrees so please can some on help me for writing ?thank you

to get degree sign , type 200 from your number key pad, then hold down alt key and simultaneously type 167 from right side number key pad now the degree sign will show.
