To install iTunes without Quicktime and any other additional Apple products, you need to install Quicktime Alternative add-on. Only then you can use iTunes using the custom installer. Thus the custom installer will skip the installation of Apple Quicktime. This is the only way to install iTunes without QuickTime.
This is just an addition information to what is given in the previous post. Here is a step by step process to install iTunes without QuickTime:
1. Download and install QuickTime alternative.
2. Download and extract iTunes installer.
3. You will find iTunes.msi file
4. Open command prompt with admin privileges and navigate to the folder containing the iTunes.msi file. Now type:
msiexec.exe /i iTunes.msi /quiet
There is one more way to use iTunes without QuickTime. Just follow the below steps:
1. Download "iTunes".
2. Run the installation file alongwith QuickTime.
3. Now go to "Start" - "Control Panel" - "Add or Remove Programs"
4. Uninstall "QuickTime".
5. Install "QuickTime Alternative"
Note: It is mandatory to have atleast QuickTime Alternative to use iTunes properly.
