Turn Off Word press Post Revisions Tracking

Hello,

I want to disable the Turn Off Post Revisions Tracking in WordPress. i am using Word press 2.6. This Newer version post revisions feature is not useful and effective with AutoSave feature built-in in WordPress editor. please tell me how can i get rid of it.

To Disable Post Revision from WordPress

Go to root directory of WordPress and Open wp-config.php file , now add the add the following line of code in wp-config.php located in the root or home directory of Wordpress.

<?php define(’WP_POST_REVISIONS’, false); ?>

Once you add this line, wordpress will stop creating any revisions.
