How to burn copy protected DVD

    hi everyone,

I need to burn the data from one of my copy protected DVD. The copy protected DVD doesn't allow its content to copy or burn. However, I need to copy and burn the data to another DVD since the original DVD is the sole copy and I need a backup. How can I burn the copy protected DVD ? Any ideas.....

Re: How to burn copy protected DVD

There are certain dvd copy software that contains a dvd ripper or dvd decryption utility which descrambles the dvds copy protection or css encryption and allows the software to burn a perfect duplicate of copy- protected dvds.

There are two such dvd rippers - DVD43 and AnyDVD

DVD43 is a free, small dvd ripper / decrypter that integrates itself into Windows and overrides copy-protection mechanisms found on DVDs. It works in conjunction and actually becomes part of the dvd copying software itself enabling it to copy css encrypted and copyright dvds.

AnyDVD is a driver (DVD Ripper), which runs undetectable in the background and descrambles DVD-Movies automatically allowing you to copy CSS encrypted and copyright dvds. This DVD ripper appears unprotected and region code free for all applications and the Windows operating system as well.

    Features
    • Works as a driver automatically in the background
    • Removes encryption (CSS) and region code (RPC) from DVDs
    • Removes analogue copy protection (Macrovision)
    • Decrypts WITHOUT having to save the data onto the hard disk
    • Works with all DVDs and DVD-drives, no matter what region code it has..
    • Proven to be stable and fast, does not need an ASPI driver
    • New Feature AnyCDDA: play, copy and rip protected Audio CDs!

It allows - setting of your vertical refresh rate depending on the video material - execution of programs on disc insertion and removal - speed control of your DVD drives

DVD Shrink is a FREE software solution for shrinking original DVDs onto recordable media.

DVD Shrink is quite similar to DVD43 and operates in a much similar way like DVD43 and other decrypter programs.

DVD Decrypter is one of the widely used tool that allows you to decrypt and copy DVDs to your computer hard disk.
From there, you can watch them with WinDVD or PowerDVD. You can also write them back to DVD-R / DVD-RW / DVD+R / DVD+RW / DVD+R DL / DVD-RAM media or you can convert them to VCD / SVCD / DivX for burning onto CD-R / CD-RW.

There are many tutorials for DVDDecrypter including screenshots and step by step instructions all over the internet.

DVD Decrypter is best and free application.
