internet explorer closes when certain websites are accessed

I have got a problem with my internet explorer 7 recently. Whenever I try to open Internet Explorer, it closes as soon as it opens. It happens only with certain websites only and not all websites. I think that my user account has something to do with the closing of the Internet Explorer as soon as I open it. I am using Windows XP with SP2. Thank you for any help.

The problem is not in the browsers but in your java client installation. Therefore you should try to install a newer version from sun microsystems, or maybe MS java client (I don't know the name of that one).
