Adobe Reader 9 browser plugin not working

i am looking to view some pdf file from my university site but my IE8 unable to view it directly so i need to download it then i can open separately with acrobat pdf reader so i installed Adobe Reader 9 but IE cannot geting the Adobe-Acrobat browser plugin so i cannot view. can some one tell me how can i set it to read files ?

what ever i now my recommendation is use official version of windows 7 as some leakey version contain virus too. so just check this and download official version of windows rc that would be better as some bugs are fixed so just and check out use Firefox for better support .

just use it on Firefox also try in Google chrome if even then its not work you need to reinstall Adobe Reader 9 but first install Adobe Reader 8 then upgrade it to 9 so that can work.
