Windows Crash right click on an image

I do not understand why when I right click on an image (. Jpg for example), Windows Explorer stops responding, I have no menu.

For a file. Doc or. Pdf there are no problem.

Does anyone have an idea?

Tries to restore the system.

Nothing to be done, right click on jpg: after 5 minutes, still nothing, the system hangs !

see in Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, type of files and see what software is assigned to the extension. jpg.
