How to Remove commercials / advertisements in Windows Live Messenger 11

I would like to remove the pub bar in WLM, I have already tried to remove it with Messpatch WLM Universal Patcher Plus, but they do not work with version 11. Is there any tweak for removing advertisements from Windows Live Messenger 11? Thank you

You can block pubs in Windows Live Messenger easily. Simply edit the file C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts and add these two lines:
127.0.0.1 rad.msn.com
127.0.0.1 rad.live.com
