WMP 12 error message "An audio device was disconnected or reconfigured"

I am using Windows 7 & has windows media player 12 default installation in it. But now it is giving an strange error saying "An audio device was disconnected or reconfigured. Verify that the audio device is connected, and then try to play the item again."

Can anyone solve this pop up message error...!

You try to check the installed sound card interface. What this error as it says is related to audio equipment. I things that windows 7 has problems with the mp3 file.

Most of the time this happens when you trying to play the file which is not existing or from external drive.
Check for latest audio drivers compatible to windows 7 & configuring it with the setting of compatibility mode to XP.

I have this error aswell but funnily enough I believe it happens when wmp changes the track details or file name based on what the cddb server tells it, cos it only happens when i play new tracks and once i re play them it never happens again, must be a stupid teething problem grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr where do i send that to

I wanted to implement AAVT Extension in MTP.

Not much documents are available to study about it.

Please help me in clearing the below mentioned doubts.

1) First Of all I wanted to know How a End User can know whether AAVT Extension is supported or not in MTP.

2) Is AAVT Extension related with DRM related files in any way?

3) Whether AAVT Extension works only on WINDOWS 7 or on all WINDOWS OS?

4) From where I can get the details regarding the operations - OpenMediaSession , CloseMediaSession and GetNextBlock?

These operations are not mentioned in MTP Spec 1.0.
