| Windows Media Player crashes playing AVI files
I am having big time trouble with windows media player. When i try to open any AVI file in media player, it hangs and crashes with error. I have no idea about this. Can someone help? all suggestions are accepted.  |

This is usually due to damaged, misconfigured, conflicting, or poorly written codec drivers. It is possible, that other media players will crash when they attempt to play this file as well. It is most likely the encoding on the avi that is causing issues. Try downloading new codecs for DIVX and XVID. Try this program: http://sourceforge.net/project/downl...se_mirror=nchc This may help you. |
