Internet explorer opens automatically

Hi,
I have problem with internet explorer. I use mozilla firefox and internet explorer for browsing. But internet explorer window opens automatically when i am surfing the net or doing other stuff on my PC. How to get rid of this?

On your start menu, choose the program list in Programs -> Startup If "Internet Explorer" is listed there, then delete it. Also check the homepage of internet explorer and change it to about:blank. Follow these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer
• Click on Tools menu
• Go to Internet Options
• Click on 'Use Blank'
• And click Apply
