Re: How to burn a CD from Limewire 5

First let me tell you that Limewire is a program that let's you download songs/videos/etc....That's it. It does not burn the cd's for you.
For burning cds, you need another program (say if you have Windows, then you can use Windows Media Player ).
  • Go into Limewire >-> go into Options/Preferences >-> Find out the folder where all your songs are going into.
  • Then go to the program your using to burn the cd (here let's take windows media player). Go to file and something along the lines of add folder.
  • Add the entire folder in which all your songs from LimeWire come from.
  • Choose the songs that you want, then choose the option burn to cd.

I don't think the LimeWire has the function built for burning the CD.

I think you can just put the CD into the computer and drag the songs from wherever Limewire has saved them. It will ask whether you want the files written to CD ? and you say Yes.....

Re: How to burn a CD from Limewire 5

Here's the solution. Follow the instructions below to burn the CD using Limewire -

Step1- Download music from Limewire

LimeWire Music let you download fast and securely all kind of media files over the internet. Working with it, takes no time, it has a clean interface for easy interact. Built-in technology offer maximum download speed and very secure file sharing.

Features:

* Advanced connection features.
* Tabbed interface.
* Built-in library to easy organize downloaded files.
* Bandwidth monitoring and control.
* Interface is nice and easy to use.

Step2 - Burn CD

Drag/drop songs into a CD burning program such as: Windows Media Player. You can use Windows Media Player 10 to burn any mix of songs you want from your library to an audio CD. Once you've burned a CD, you can play it in any standard CD player. Burning mix CDs makes it easy to listen to only the songs you want. Before you begin, you need the following:
  • A Windows XP–compatible CD recorder. This can also be called a CD burner, compact disc-recordable (CD-R) drive, or compact disc-rewriteable (CD-RW) drive.
  • A blank CD-R or CD-RW disc. For maximum compatibility with home, car, and portable CD players, a CD-R disc is recommended.
  • Songs downloaded from limewie.

To burn an audio CD
  • In Windows Media Player, click Library and then click List(in the List pane) and then click Burn List.
    Note - If you wish to clear the list before beginning, click Burn List, and then click Clear List.

  • Drag a folder from the Contents pane or songs from the Details pane to the List pane to create a list of songs to burn.

  • In the Burn list, drag songs up or down to arrange them in the order you want them to appear on the CD.

  • Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc in the CD drive.

  • In the List pane, verify that the songs you have selected to burn will all fit on the disc. If necessary, remove songs from the list by right-clicking a song and then clicking Remove from List.
    Note - A song may not fit even if the total time exactly matches the CD length, because the Player inserts two seconds between songs when burning.

  • Click the Start Burn arrow and verify that Audio CD is selected.

  • Click Start Burn - As the CD is burning, you can check its progress in the burn list. Burning a CD will take some time.
