I had similar stability problems at first. I just bumped up my SPP voltage a notch and the problems went away. Not a single bsod after that.

Can you post the BSOD info please? These often contain offending module names or error codes that can be researched.

Follow the following step this may help you

    1. Open the display properties window select Settings tab.

    2. Click Advanced

    3. Select the Troubleshoot tab

    4. Adjust the Hardware Acceleration slider to the position which says"Disable all Direct Draw and Direct3D accelerations, as well as all cursor and advanced drawing accelerations. Use this setting to correct severe problems with DirectX accelerated applications." This is the third setting from the left.

    5. Apply the changes and try a video.

Check your graphics card manufacturer's website for the latest
Windows 7 compatible drivers for your card?

What application are you using to open the video files and does this happen with any video or just some video files; with what types of video files are you having this problem?
