The different features in VideoDJ includes advanced beat locking, automatic seamless loops, synchronized sampler, fly remixing, music and video scratching, and time code vinyl control. Along with all this, it also features visual beat display, DRM, VST and free frame effects, as well as Internet Broadcasting and of course karaoke fun.

The software also provides clear superimposed view of music beats, samplers of live remixes, and anti-skip technology.

    Re: Atomix Virtual DJ

I had downloaded VirtualDJ for a 20 day free trial. This is what I observed after using this software.

    Good points -
The Video DJ is capable of using MP3, WAV, and other music files. You can use multiple sound card and audio devices as well.
The on-board mixer offers you everything a mixer should with volume fading, mute control and cross fading.

VideoDJ is capable of running on all the possible versions of Windows - 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Vista.

    Bad points -
Well the only negative point I think is the price that ranges from $49.99 to $299.00 depending on where you purchase it from and which version you are looking for.

    Re: Atomix Virtual DJ

Virtual DJ allows you to get the chance to showcase your very own styled mix without having to buy and carry around expensive and bulky equipment.

VirtualDJ is an intuitive and exciting application for beginning and aspiring DJs.
Virtual DJ is accessible to beginners and packed with extra features.
Here are some recent changes made to VirtualDJ -
    • Better scratch tracking
    • New HD mode for Timecode CDs
    • Absolute mode fixed
    • Accurate backward tracking
    • Enhanced auto-config
    • Adjustable auto-pitch sensitivity
    • Retains pitch value when used in one-timecode mode
    • New remote control device added
    • New video transition: scratch, alpha
    • Virtualfolders automatically remove duplicates
    • New query for plug-ins (maineffect, mainsample)
    • New action: timecode_mode
    • Virtualfolders rename/delete/etc refresh fixed
    • Crackles in dual soundcard mode fixed
    • Crash with very long ID3 comment in skin fixed
    • Vdj latency adapts to nearest available latency on weird ASIO soundcards

The real downside with VirtualDJ is that it has a tendency to jam when you are adding effects, samples or tweaking the equalizer during a mix. This creates a problem when you are in the middle of a set and you have got people on the dance floor. To avoid these problems, you can record your mix beforehand or that you use effects sparingly.
