Outlook Express Message compression

Hello

When i close Outlook Express message disply on my screen : "To free disk space ....". How to avoid this message systematic? (Heard this is just a click away ... but this message makes no sense).

Can anyone know solution for this ?

You can change your store folder. I always do that. When I have to reinstall, I simply change it back to my custom store folder from the default and all you messages will be there.

Tools --> Options --> Maintenance --> Clean Up now --> Compact.

If you are running XP/SP2, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin, (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files. To restore a bak folder to the message store folder, first find the location of the Message Store. After messages are successfully restored, delete the old dbx file.
