Unable to open attachment from outlook express

Hello there,
I am using outlook express for emails. But i cannot open attachments from outlook emails. Some times i can open word or excel file. What is the problem?
Can anyone help?

If you cannot open attachments while using the Outlook Express e-mail client, your security settings may be too high. When you try to open attachments, you may see the following message: “OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail.”

Follow this easy steps:

• Start Outlook Express
• Go to Tools menu
• Then click Options
• Click the Security tab
• Uncheck option “Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus”
• Then click OK
