Then how it is possible?Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 come with their own breed of IE8, in the same manner as Windows Vista RTM featured a variant of IE7 different than those for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 at the start.
hi,
there is only one possibility that your are using "N" version due to which IE8 not installed in Windows7, because it ships with Win7. Internet Explorer 8 is removable in new interim Windows 7. In Programs menu - Control Panel - Turn Windows Features on or off feature is available try to check here that it has been disabled make it enable.
- Enter the Control Panel and look at “All Control Panel Options”
- Click “Programs and Features”
- In the left sidebar, click “Turn Windows Features On or Off” (you will be thrown a UAC prompt if you elevated UAC)
- Wait for the list to load.
- Look for Internet Explorer 8 in the list and enable it.
- Click OK. You will see a prompt notifying you of a reboot.
- The machine will reboot once, configure things, and reboot again.
