want to load a program through startup

dear frnz, iwhat i want is that by running a .bat file i want to load some programs in the startup of winXP.
Also, i would want to replace the path of a particular program (e.g; internet explorer) to the execution of some other program (e.g; word) so that even though i click on internet explorer, the word application shud get triggered. Pls note i want to replace this path with the help of a batch file, if possible

    thnx

Re: want to load a program through startup

It’s very simple to do that. First of all you have to create the .bat file say at desktop. After that drag that file to start menu > all programs > start up and drop that into the start up. Now whenever you start the computer then that bat file will be executed at startup. But make sure that you should have the admin rights to do that. I hope that this will help you.
