unsure Adobe Flash Player doesn't work on Firefox & IE in Vista

Hello Friends,

I'm running Windows Vista along with Firefox and Internet Explorer as my web browser. Recently i had installed Adobe Flash Player on my pc. The problem is that after installing Flash i had rebooted my system, but after rebooting my pc the system flash goes away and it states an error message that re-installation is required. I can not access the internet neither using Firefox or Internet Explorer. Can any body tell me that what can i do to resolve the problem? Does any body have any idea about this issue? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue.

Thanks a lot.

If you use Firefox AdBlock extension and you have upgraded to Firefox 1.5 you may notice that Flash is now disabled on your browser. Try to enable Flash on your Firefox 1.5 browser. Follow the below steps mention.

1. Type Ctrl-Shift-P and click on AdBlock Options.

2. Uncheck OBJ-TABS.

Follow these steps to properly install Adobe Flash Player:-

For Vista (32 bit):

1. Open Computer.

2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\.

3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.

4. Open the Flash directory.

5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.

6. Select Run as Administrator.

7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.

8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.

For Vista (64 bit):

1. Open Computer.

2. Navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.

3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.

4. Open the Flash directory.

5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.

6. Select Run as Administrator.

7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.

8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.

Once the wizard completes, Flash Player has been properly installed and will now function properly.

Try going there in FireFox or Internet Explorer if you have either installed, that's what I did. Save the install (exe) file somewhere, close all your browser windows and install it.

Or you can go to Adobe Flash Player website, select Vista/XP/2003 for the OS, and FireFox for the browser and it will download instead of using the ActiveX install method in IE.
