Can't save projects to epm server

I'm using windows vista enterprise edition and I can't save projects to the enterprise server in ms project 2007 but instead when I try to save it saves locally. please help me

I suspect that your Project Server Queue might be stuck, based on the
"Checkin pending" mesage you see. You might try the following:

1. Stop the Windows SharePoint Services Timer
2. Stop the Microsoft Office Project Server Queue Service
3. Restart the Queue Service
4. Restart the WSS Timer

I had a similar problem with Project Server 2007 initially, and the above
steps solved the problem. Hope this helps.
