To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
    • Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
    • Double-click Add/Remove Programs, and then click the Windows Setup tab.
    • Click the Outlook Express check box to clear it, and then click OK.
    • Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer.
    • Double-click the Program Files folder.
    • Rename the Outlook Express folder to "Old Outlook Express" (without the quotation marks), and then click Yes when you are prompted to confirm that you want to rename the read-only folder.
    • For information about renaming folders, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type "renaming" (without the quotation marks), and then double-click the "Renaming Folders" topic.
    • Rename the "!$!$!$!$.oer" folder to "Outlook Express" (without the quotation marks).
    • Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
    • Double-click Add/Remove Programs, and then click the Windows Setup tab.

if you are able to see your the old data on the desktop - then it is possible to copy it all, using the desktop interface, onto the TW. you can switch between user names. or if you are slightly familiar with where the old files are stored (roughly: programfiles/palm/username/backup), then you can copy the old files directly the the new username. just some ideas that i can give you on the quick. wish you success.
