| To enable Macro language support
I don't know for some reason the support for the macro language has been disabled in my Microsoft Excel 2003. What can be the reason for this ? I want to ask whether it is possible to enable this macro language support ? ANY IDEAS... |

| Re: To enable Macro language support
If some items — such as templates (including default templates like Normal.dot in Microsoft Word), add-ins, wizards, or custom commands— do not function the way you expect, you may be running a Microsoft Office program with the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) shared feature disabled. Many features in Office are created in VBA or depend on VBA support to function correctly. If you choose not to install the VBA feature, these dependent applications and features will be disabled or not installed. |

If someone else set up your Office installation for you, contact your System Administrator or Information Technology (IT) Professional to see whether you are running Office with VBA disabled. |

| Re: To enable Macro language support
If you do not install Visual Basic for Applications when you install Office, then Macros do not run, and you cannot create macros. When you open a document in an Office application that contains embedded macros, an alert message similar to the following may appear: drive\path\filename contains macros. Macro language support is disabled in this application. Would you like to open a copy of this document with the macros removed? When you attempt to use a wizard, you receive a message similar to the following: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\wizard name.wiz contains macros. Macro language support is disabled in this application. Would you like to open a copy of this document with the macros removed? |
