windows media player shows on task bar but not on screen is there a way to fix this? i have uinistalled and reinstalled it but the same thing happens

On which Media Player version you are getting this problem, and when you open that application have you check that application running in Windows Task Manager -> Processes Tab or else in the Application Tab.
