Error message 1935 while installing Nokia PC Suite

Hello,

When i try to install the PC suit for my nokia 5300 downloaded from internet it gives me error message 1935.

Please help me with this issue !

Then it says PC Suite won't install and installation is terminated.

Hi...I've got the same problem and I resolved it doing this:

With 7zip I unzipped the PC Suite.exe file, into the new folder (with the name PC Suite) I found and install the PCSS.exe and after that I installed the PC Suite.exe that was into the PC Suite folder...

The error you are receiving is a Windows installer error and is not part of Nokia PC Suite.

This problem can be rectified by updating your installation of the Windows Installer Service. Updates are available at www.windowsupdate.com.

Please note that even though you may have automatic updates enabled, this does not mean that your Windows Installer will be up-to-date.

You may also wish to try using the Windows Installer Clean-up Utility. This is a free application issued by Microsoft that helps repair damaged installations of the Windows Installer Service and the registry and is also available at the above address.
