Explorer hangs by .Mov File

hi,
i have problems with. Mov files in my explorer. When I was in an Adobe Premiere. Mov file I have rendered it just play, but not copy, cut or remove. When I want to paste it elsewhere or remove, the dialog and runs the explorer hang down. The file is only around 150 mb.

Does anybody have any idea what is the problem ?

the poblem only with that one. Mov file or other?Do you have more files (premiere) rendered and moved? Otherwise try again in safe mode of Windows.

Sounds like the common(ish) problem that Windows Explorer has with some video type files. Windows Explorer will scan video files for various properties which it may then display for you. A video file that is corrupt (in structure not content!) will cause Windows Explorer to hang trying to reads it's properties.

There are any number of bad registry key scenarios that can cause this situation. I have had much success running the freely available RegSeeker (from HoverDesk) to quickly yank out the zillions of bad entries in a safe (recoverable) manner. The application has a feature "Clean Registry" which removes all the keys pointing to bad locations, but also saves all removed keys into a recoverable quarantine.
