Re: How to move message from webmail to outlook?

Yo can move your mail from WebMail to Outlook Express. If your messages include Word, Excel, or PowerPoint attachments, you must first do the following to be able to open the documents after moving or transferring the messages:
    • In Outlook Express, select "Tools" =>then "Options".
    • Next select the Security tab.
    • Turn off "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".
    • Click "Apply" and "OK".
To move/transfer messages normally, you can use the FileZilla or OpenAFS method:
    1. Connect to your webspace by using either FileZilla or OpenAFS.
    2. Once you have connected, download the folder ".WebMail" to your desktop.
    3. Open Outlook Express.
    4. If you want the mail to be in your Inbox, simply click your Inbox folder to show it.
    5. If you want the mail to be in a new folder, right-click "Local Folders" and select "New Folder". Enter the name of the new folder and click "OK".
    6. Go into your .WebMail folder on your desktop. You should see the same folders from your WebMail account.
    7. Go into each folder and select all of the numerical files, but not the "msglist.db" and "msglist.db.lock" files.
    8. Drag these files into your Inbox or the other folder you made.

You should now see all of your messages from WebMail, including the attachments.
