The best compression for video i think is .3gp format. But very poor quality video resolution. If you want both quality and good compression then make your video into .avi , but still it depens, Most services wont let you send large files. Gmail allows 20MB per email. Windows Hotmail is 10MB, not sure about yahoo but I would imagine it's around 10 to 20 mb. IF you want to share a large file with your friends, consider setting up a private ftp site.
