Why do you need a Ftp Virus Scanner? Is your Ftp server hacked or something the shut down the site then search and delete those evil scripts but it would be alot esier to just wipe the entire server then restore backup, and before you make the site available again i would proly lookaround for the sites CVS's support forum (Ex: OsCommerce forum, Invision board Forum, Xoops support forum) and search for security patches and lockdown procedures

Edit: also you may still want to let your host know about the intrusion, some scripts affects the whole hosting server, it happened once with some of godaddy's shared hosting

I believe that most people are now running an background AV, which transparently checks any accessed file.

Can we not just folder FTP drive as a network drive and scan it with your computer's virus scanner?
